Pilates Ball
The Pilates ball is a tool that is used to take a regular
workout to another level. It puts major focus on the core muscles as
well as the back muscles of the body all the while increasing balance.
The ball promotes a better workout with fewer injuries.
The Pilates ball comes in different sizes. There are balls available
in 55-75 cm for people ranging in height from 4’11” to 6’7”.
There are also balls available for those who may be overweight or suffer
from obesity.
The Pilates ball can be used for a variety of different things. Weight
training, abdominal training, yoga and Pilates workouts, and simply
sitting around can all be amplified by using the ball. Using the ball
requires one to apply focus to their core muscles and so they may not
be able to lift as much weight; however, a good workout can still be
achieved.
